Help Support Our Capital Campaign
We’re striving to build diverse audiences of communities that are based in King County that responds to the need in sharing sacred space.
This building was built in 1907. These walls and the providers who have lived within these walls tell a story relevant to our cultural history, our community work, and the pathways of our future.

For the past 38 years, ADEFUA Cultural Education Workshop began presenting public and private programming here at this very same location to people of all genres. There were performances, classes, rehearsals, rites of passage, job interviews, heal thyself events, wraparound meetings, study groups, parent-child visitation location, filming studio, audio recording studio, and more…

Our history highlights many stories of the African and African American Cultural Arts Experiences in America and around the world. Featuring some of the talented founders of African culture locally within our greater communities.
